Module Description
Learn how to keep your research organized, understandable, and reusable. You’ll learn about strategies for documenting your work—from keeping clear research records to describing data and organizing files—so others (and your future self) can understand, reproduce, and build on what you’ve done.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
- Describe the research data lifecycle and the role of documentation throughout it
- Explain how documentation supports transparency, reproducibility, and reuse
- Apply documentation practices in different research contexts, including experimental records and data description
- Organize research projects using effective folder structures and file-naming conventions
